Baharat

Baharat is widely used in Oriental cuisine, in the Maghreb countries, in Turkey, in some Mediterranean countries and in Israeli cuisine, too. Baharat has a very warm aroma and a smoky-sweet taste, not very spicy, but dominant. This seasoning is often added to lamb, poultry and beef dishes, and it is also great for chickpeas, lentils, and couscous. You can pleasantly surprise your guests with an amazing taste and delicious aroma if you use baharat in cooking.
