Svanetian Salt

Svan salt is a traditional blend of spices in Georgian cuisine. This is a very popular and versatile seasoning that is used to prepare soups, sauces, meat and fish dishes, vegetable salads and various marinades. Svan salt has a flavored smell, with hints of spicy herbs and a light spicy taste. Many people add Svanetian Salt in every day dishes instead of regular table salt to reduce their salt intake at the expense of the herbs and spices in the seasoning.
