Thai Blend (or “Siamese Blend”) is a common seasoning in Thailand and Indonesia. It is used to cook rice, vegetables, meat, fish and poultry in Asian cuisines to make dishes more delicate. The Thai blend has a slightly burning taste and a harmonious combination of spices, as well as a specific, but at the same time very pleasant smell. It is able to exhibit special aromatic and taste properties when mixed with onion fried in vegetable oil: during the frying process, onion juice is released, which acquires a refined taste and aroma in combination with this seasoning.
