Sichuan Pepper, also known as Chinese pepper, is a spice that is commonly used in Chinese and Nepalese cuisines. Its flavor is fairly hot and somewhat reminiscent of citrus with a note of clove. Sichuan Pepper is not as hot as black pepper, white pepper and hot chili pepper. It has a distinctive peppery aroma though. It’s a universal spice and could be used in meat, fish or seafood dishes. It’s normally added when the dish is almost ready. Also you could use a pepper mill and add some pepper to your taste.
